The Harris County Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers need the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a woman in a parking lot on Sept. 17.
According to police, the woman arrived to her job in the 17800 block of Spring Cypress Road, parked her car and was walking toward the entrance when a man ran up to her and attempted to grab the purse on her shoulder.
The woman refused to let go of her purse, but the suspect still managed to reach into it and take her cash and cell phone. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a tall, skinny man with tattoos on his face, neck, arms and legs. He wore a black and white shirt, gray shorts and a dark blue baseball cap. Surveillance video captured images of the suspect.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the charging or arrest of the suspect. Information can be anonymously reported by calling (713) 222-TIPS (8477) or online.
