2 men rob SE Houston convenience store at gunpoint

HOUSTON – Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in identifying two men accused of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint near the Gulfgate shopping center in southeast Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the men concealed their faces with bandannas when they went into the store in the 3400 block of Broad Street about 8:45 a.m. on July 1 and demanded money.

Police said the men threatened to kill one of the employees, and ordered him to open the registers and safe, which he did. The suspects fled the store in a white four-door Dodge Ram with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the charges or arrests of the suspects. Information can be reported by calling (713) 222-TIPS (8477).
