Burglars target vehicles in Katy's Firethorne neighborhood

KATY, Texas – The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office are looking for at least two suspects who burglarized vehicles in Katy's Firehorne subdivision.

Officials said at about 5 a.m. on Sept. 30, vehicles in the 2500 block of Sparrow Crest Lane, the 25500 block of Beauford Drive and the 2200 block of Arrowhead Trails were targeted.

Police said the burglars got away with an iPad, a Smith & Wesson handgun, gift cards and cash.

One of the thieves is described as a Hispanic or white male between the ages of 15 to 25. Officials said he is about 5 feet 9 inches tall to 6 feet tall with a slim build and dark hair.

KPRC 2 was told the second burglar is stockier and shorter but also appears to be within the same age range.
