HOUSTON – A teenager charged in a deadly carjacking at a Montrose night club will be tried as an adult.

Juan Ramirez, 22, was gunned down as he was leaving F Bar in March.

A 16-year-old and 15-year-old are accused of killing Ramirez, then stealing his pickup truck.

The 16-year-old is facing multiple charges, including capital murder and aggravated robbery. He could face up to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

If he had been tried as a juvenile, the maximum penalty would be 40 years in prison.
