COLLEGE STATION, Texas – A suspicious package on the Texas A&M University campus on Thursday has been deemed safe.
Authorities said a Code Maroon was issued because of a suspicious package reported at the northwest corner of West Campus Garage.

Transportation Services has altered the following bus routes: 01, 05, 08, and 35. Customers on those routes should expect long delays. The Kleberg and Reed Arena stops are not being made at this time. Customers are encouraged to walk to the nearest available bust stop. Transportation Services has Supervisors at Kleberg and the MSC to help passengers with questions.

Traffic is being diverted around the intersection of Kimbrough and Olsen Blvd. Vehicles inside the West Campus Parking Garage may exit Eastbound on Kimbrough towards Wellborn Road. Please continue to avoid the area until further notice.
