2007 Corvette is new addition to Texas police department No description found
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – By Lauren Leal - Staff
The New Braunfels Police Department has a sleek new addition - Coptimus Prime, a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. It made its debut Friday at the Comal County Fair Parade.
The Corvette was seized during a large methamphetamine raid in June 2011.
The car will not be used as a patrol car. Instead, it will be used as a community outreach tool for schools, local parades and community events.
The future plan is for Coptimus Prime to be sold at an auction. The money will be returned to the seizure fund and other received funds will be used for future community outreach programs.
