Couple found jogging naked leaves 20-month-old alone on beach

CAMERON PARISH, LA – A 20-month-old girl was found alone on a Louisiana Beach Tuesday morning, Cameron Parish Sheriff Ron Johnson said.

The sheriff's office received a report of the child alone on the beach just after 10 a.m. When deputies arrived, they found the baby two miles from an SUV.

The parents, Cody and Monique Bourgeois, were located hours later jogging naked down the beach.

Both were arrested and charged with child desertion and obscenity.

Johnson said drug abuse is suspected.

Child protective services is investigating.
