Man wanted for self-checkout scam
No description foundHOUSTON – Deputies are searching for the man they say is behind a self-checkout scam at a store in southeast Houston.
Investigators said the man grabbed a backpack from the shelf and loaded it up with items. When he went to check out, he only paid for the backpack.
A store employee tried to stop him and the man said he had a gun in the bag.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who can help track down the man.
