Man on the run after deadly stabbing Suspect believed to be in Mexico No description found
HOUSTON – Police are looking for a man accused of stabbing a woman to death in north Houston.
Juan Velez Lopez, 51, is charged with murder in the death of Consuelo Pena, 57. Police said they responded to a welfare check at a home in the 600 block of McDaniel Street early on July 25. They found Pena dead inside the home with stab wounds.
Homicide investigators identified Lopez as the accused killer. They said he and Pena had a relationship and lived together. Investigators believe Lopez fled to Mexico.
