Firefighters from the Little York Fire Department and the Northwest Fire Department responded and found flames and smoke coming from the building.

The cemetery was closed, so fire crews had to cut through one of the locked doors to get into the building. Once inside, firefighters found a golf cart engulfed in flames.

Harris County Fire Marshal determined that there was an electrical short in a golf cart that was plugged in to charge overnight.

Crews managed to quickly douse the fire.

No one was hurt.
