HOUSTON – Coca-Cola isn't exactly the healthiest beverage. Most of us know that it is full of sugar. So how does it affect your body?

According to The Renegade Pharmacist, 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system in the first 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Caffeine absorption is complete, your pupils dilate and blood pressure rises after 40 minutes. After an hour, you'll start to have a sugar crash. You may feel irritable and/or sluggish.
