Man found in parking lot with deep cuts dies at hospital

HOUSTON – A man died after he was found lying in an apartment complex parking lot with several deep cuts, according to police.

Officers were called to Brockvue Apartments at 8204 Brockton St. about 2 a.m. Saturday. The man was taken to Ben Taub Hospital where he died.  

Investigators said the victim was a 20- to 30-year-old Hispanic. They said witnesses saw a man and a woman inside a newer-model silver or gray two-door vehicle who were possibly with the victim before he was injured.

The residents at the complex said they did not know the victim and had not seen him before, according to police.
