LOS ANGELES – Despite receiving two nominations at Wednesday's ESPYs, J.J. Watt went home without winning an award.
The Houston Texans player was nominated for Best Male Athlete and Best NFL Player.
Best Male Athlete went to NBA player Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.
The Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers was named Best NFL Player.
Watt still got a chance to stand on stage, however, when he joined Britney Spears to present the Best Female Athlete Award to UFC Champion Ronda Rousey.
