Rosenberg police investigate fatal shooting No description found
ROSENBERG, Texas – Authorities are searching for the suspect that shot and killed Ladontia Jones, 19, last night in Rosenberg.
The victim had two bullet wounds and was found inside his vehicle at 11:26pm in the parking lot on 5203 Avenue I. Jones was transported to Oak Bend Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The motive of the shooting is under investigation, but police said that drugs might have been involved.
Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the gunman is asked to call Rosenberg Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division at 832-595-3700.
