HOUSTON - After six years of testing, Gmail finally released the coveted "undo send" feature. Yes, this means if you sent your boss that romantic email meant for your spouse, you have the chance to redeem yourself.

In a blog posted earlier this week, Google announced the permanent change, but there's a catch. You only have 30 seconds to click the undo button after initially pressing send. The new feature can't unsend previously sent emails or be used on mobile devices.
Still, the excitement over the new Gmail feature was evident on social media. A new hashtag, #SavedByUndoSend, was trending.
The feature had been available since 2009, but through Google Labs, which are experimental features, anyone with a Gmail account can access and use.
