These wedding dresses, complete with extensive detail, layering and beading were created using only Charmin toilet paper, glue, tape and needle and thread as part of a contest. The winner would win a $10,000 cash prize from Cheap Chic Weddings, an online bridal company.
This year, the top 10 dresses and their designers traveled to New York City to showcase their designs in a fashion show hosted by Kleinfeld Bridal. Contest co-creators Susan Bain and Laura Gawne took it a step further this year by deciding to turn the winning ensemble into a real life dress to be created by a Kleinfeld designer. This year's winner, Donna Pope Vincler, said it took her about three months to craft her winning halter neck dress jacket and top hat. This is the 11th year the contest has been held.
