According to the USAO, a detention hearing on June 5 revealed that Latigo is accused of sending compromising images of the victim to third parties, keeping her passport and sexually assaulting her in 2014.
In a detention order, a federal judge said Latigo's "alleged conduct (was) so egregious and threatening to the victim, that detention is warranted."
If convicted, Latigo faces up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
The FBI investigated Latigo's case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Sherri Zack is prosecuting the case.
