Colorado is known for its world class resorts where guests can hike, ski and relax. For one camp resort, campers have the freedom to smoke pot from the front of their cabin porch.

CannaCamp combines together a traditional ranch resort, the use of recreational marijuana and educational workshops to create a one-of-a-kind getaway experience for its guests.

The 170-acre camp is located 30 miles outside of Colorado, just south of the Rocky Mountains. It's being called the nation's first cannabis-friendly ranch resort.

The resort includes numerous accommodations except the cannabis itself as it violates state law. Guests, however, can bring their own marijuana and use it while they are on their stay.
Colorado made recreational marijuana legal in 2014 yet most hotels do not allow cannabis use since public consumption is illegal. Although CannaCamp does not allow smoking inside their cabins, guests will be encouraged to smoke at its other public areas due to its secluded mountainside location.

Pot related activities such as yoga, cannabis-infused massage therapy and cannabis cooking classes are some of the options offered at the camp. In addition, guests can also enjoy the leisure of average outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and zip lining.

"We're bringing an element of luxury to that adventurous, exploratory vibe of childhood summer camp in a beautiful setting where visitors can enjoy marijuana in a safe, comfortable, social environment," Joel Schneider, head of the management group opening CannaCamp, said in a statement.

Guests can stay in cabins with rates starting at $395 each person per night, with a three night-minimum. The camp is now accepting reservations for the summer season from July to October.

CannaCamp opens on July 1.
