2-alarm fire rips through Tomball pub

TOMBALL, Texas – Firefighters are investigating a 2-alarm fire that ripped through a long-time pub in Tomball Monday night.

The Tomball Fire Department responded to a fire at Molly's Pub in the 28000 block of Tomball Parkway around 9 p.m.

According to officials, several workers were inside the business at the time the fire broke out. Fortunately, no one was hurt as firefighters were able to evacuate everyone from the building.

Tomball police said the back of building was completely engulfed in flames. The fire consumed more than half of the roof, causing it to collapse.

Fighters from five different fire departments acted quickly to contain the fire, trying to prevent it from spreading to other businesses.

Officials said they're still investigating to to see what caused the flames to break out.
