FBCSO arrests two men in separate robbery cases

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of two suspects in separate robbery suspects Monday.

Durell Lamar Taylor, 30, was charged with aggravated robbery. He is accused of following the victim to their home in New Territory from a bank and robbing them in their driveway. Officials said they are investigating several of Taylor's associates from the Sunnyside area in Houston.

Taylor had bond set at $74,000 and was released from the Fort Bend County Jail after posting bail.

Tellis Edwards, 29, is accused of assaulting and robbing a 15-year-old student who was returning home from school in the Townewest subdivision in Sugar Land.

Edwards' bond was set at $20,000 and also was released from the jail after posting bail.
