HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – There will be a retrial for an already-convicted killer, a judge announced Monday.

In 2010, a jury found Cameron Moon guilty of shooting and killing Christopher Seabreak during a drug deal.

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals overturned Moon's murder conviction in December after Moon's attorneys argued he should have been tried as a juvenile.

But a judge ruled Monday that Moon will once again be tried as an adult.

"Somewhere down the road, there's going to be a retrial and we're anxious to represent our case to the citizens of Harris County," defense attorney David Cunningham said.

Moon is currently free on bail.

His attorney said he faces life in prison if he is found guilty of murder and his trial could be months away.
