Wreck involving 18-wheeler closes eastbound lanes of 290 at Eldridge Parkway No description found
HOUSTON – An accident involving an 18-wheeler closed the eastbound main lanes of Highway 290 at the Eldridge Parkway on Friday.
The Texas Department of Transportation said the wreck closed two main lanes. A concrete barrier was damaged and contractors will have to realign it, according to authorities.
There was a scheduled construction closure of two outside lanes from Eldridge Road to Jones Road, according to TxDOT. Construction crews are on twaiting for it to clear and won't close the lanes until traffic congestion eases.
