HOUSTON – A 41-year-old man was robbed and killed in front of his wife Friday night.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Ruben Acosta and his wife arrived at the Club Escapade at 11903 Eastex Freeway around 10:15 p.m. As they were getting out of their car, a tan or silver vehicle stopped behind them.
One of the people in the car demanded money from Acosta and then shot him several times, killing him.
HCSO said deputies who were working security at the club heard the shots and found the couple in the parking lot.
The killer left the scene.
