Firefighters fight 8-acre fire at wood pallet company in Aldine Westfield No description found
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Firefighters fought flames that engulfed a wood pallet company in northeast Harris County Tuesday night.
A fire started at Cougar Pallet Company, located in the 13000 block of Aldine Westfield Road, after a trash fire got out of control, according to officers.
The 8-acre pallet yard had six different fire departments working on the flames that engulfed the mountains of wood on the land.
Emergency crews had to bring in a total of six additional water tanks because there are no hydrants in the nearby area.
