The Houston Police Department said Beckett fatally shot Isaac Tandoh, 28, and wounded a 42-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, who have since been released from area hospitals.

Investigators said a group of people were in front of a barber shop in the 8500 block of Cook Road around 7:30 p.m. March 3 when they got into an argument with at least one of the victims.

Afterward, an unknown black man opened the front door of the business and started shooting, according to HPD. The shooter then fled the scene.

Police said Beckett was arrested March 31 without incident.
