Gas leak causes shelter-in-place in Stonehenge subdivision in Aldine

ALDINE, Texas – There is a shelter-in-place for the Stonehenge subdivision in Aldine after a gas leak Tuesday, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said the gas leak happened in the 1500 block of Rankin Road. Officials said the road is closed.

The Aldine Volunteer Fire Department is responding to the leak. Fire officials said the shelter-in-place is expected to be lifted around 10 p.m. Rankin Road is expected around the same time, according to the fire department.

No injuries have been reported.
