HARRIS COUNTY – A teenager has been charged with possession of child pornography after showing graphic images on his phone to a student at Cypress-Ranch High School, according to Cy-Fair police.
Walter Thomas Thompson, 18, was arrested Feb. 28 for possession, viewing, trading and downloading child pornography.

According to court documents, Thompson approached a student at Cy-Ranch High School and showed her a disturbing video of what appeared to be child pornography. The student reported the video to authorities.
After an interview with police, Thompson admitted to having more than 100 graphic images and videos of children on his tablet, smartphone, jump drive, and his family's desktop computer in Tomball. All of the electronic devices were confiscated upon his arrest.
Thompson's bail was set at $20,000.
