HOUSTON – Four women just set off on a cross country journey to raise money and awareness for the "No More" campaign to end domestic violence and sexual assault. And they're doing the 2,800 mile journey on roller skates.
They left Florida this week and they'll skate through Texas before ending up in California.

The group of roller derby athletes will begin a 78-day journey from Cocoa Beach, Florida, to Santa Monica, California. Skaters Gracie Cole, Kim Bouldin, Beth Richter and Brenna Eaker are athletes on a mission to raise awareness and funds for the Joyful Heart Foundation.
Joyful Heart Foundation is a non-profit organization working to heal, educate and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse, and to shed light into the darkness that surrounds these issues.
The skating journey will average 40 miles each day. They will cross eight states and skate over 2,800 miles. Besides awareness, the girls are trying to raise $50,000 for the cause. They will be representing the "No More" campaign, a transformative initiative to unite society around the simple message that together we can end domestic violence and sexual assault.
The women will be joined by other roller derby skaters as they skate through cities across the country. They'll be in Houston in early April.
