FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers, Inc. will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in a home burglary case in the area.
They don't know his name, but they know what he looks like from a homeowner's security video. He allegedly broke into a home to a home in the 8200 block of Wahl Manor Court near the intersection of Highway 6 and Beechnut St. sometime between 11:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Deputies learned that the suspect broke into the homeowner's vehicle and used the garage door remote to gain entry into the home. The video showed him searching the house. He left with a purse, two cell phones and a designer jacket.
Later, the suspect used credit cards from the purse at a Shell gas station in the 8300 block of Highway 6 in Harris County and at a Raceway gas station.
Neighbors in the Kingsbridge subdivision said it's been the fifth burglary in the area in 24 months.
"They just come break into houses, break into cars, things like that," said Tyrone Moore, who lives on the same street as the house that was hit this time.
The suspect stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has a beard and was wearing a dark hoodie with light-colored pants and a baseball cap.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000. All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
