HOUSTON – Several people gathered at a River Oaks church Thursday evening to remember a family that was murdered.

The church of St. John Divine held a service for Israel Ahimbisibwe, his wife, Dorcus, and the couple's 5-year-old son.

The couple's oldest son, Isaac Tiharihondi, is the prime suspect in the brutal murders. The family was found dead inside their west Houston home on Feb. 2.

The 19-year-old is now charged with two counts of capital murder.

Community and church members are also coming to Isaac's only living brother's aid. 17-year-old Emanuel is enrolled in a California boarding school.

"There are a number of people and organizations that have promised that his college will be paid for," Rev. Reagan Cocke of St. John the Divine told KPRC2. "Emanuel will be taken care of."

The Episcopal Diocese of Texas has set up a fund for the Ahimbisibwe family. Click here for more information.
