Victim's car stolen after attack

SPRING, Texas – The woman, who was allegedly attacked and had her car stolen ,doesn't want to be identified, but she said she wants her story told in hopes that someone else may not become a victim. She said she was just feet from her unit at the Northgate Oaks Apartment Complex when she was allegedly attacked and beaten.

"I parked and I was walking to the gym and I was approached by two young men," she said. "They come up behind me with a crowbar. They said, 'Give me your money' (and) pushed me to the ground. I told them I didn't have any money."

But the victim said at that point, they started hitting her in her legs.

"One of them hit me in the right leg with the crowbar and then they took my keys, took my phone. They held me down and asked for my passcode," she said.

The complex, which is in Spring, is off of T.C. Jester, just north of 1960.

The incident all happened just a few days ago and according to the Sheriff's Office, it happened to another woman as well.

In that case, deputies said four young men carjacked the lady on Feb. 1.

Both attacks happened in the evening hours around 8.

Meanwhile, some residents said they are so scared, they are taking matters into their own hands to protect themselves.

"It's disturbing, I have my pistol on me 24-7," one resident said.
