Identity released of man shot, killed in SW Houston apartment parking lot
No description foundHOUSTON – Houston police have released the identity of a man who was found shot to death outside a southwest Houston apartment complex on Jan. 23.
Police responded to a shooting call at the Broadmoor apartments at 10215 Beechnut around 11 p.m.
Officers arrived to find James Miller Rogers, 27, lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said there were several shell casings and two cars with bullet holes at the scene.
There were no witnesses to the shooting, although several residents reported hearing gunshots.
