HOUSTON – Special agents carried out a sticky seizure at the Port of Houston Wednesday.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security found nearly 225 tons of illegal honey from China. The 660 barrels of honey is valued at just under $2.5 million.

Agents say the merchants lied about the honey's origin to avoid paying hefty taxes.
