Help needed to solve cold case murder of US Army veteran
Robert Kimmey was just 39 years old when he was murdered.
HOUSTON – Authorities are asking for the public's help in solving the murder of an Army veteran that occurred seven years ago Monday.
In the early morning hours of Jan, 26, 2008, officers found U.S. Army veteran Robert Kimmey unconscious in the driver's seat of a blue Hyundai Sonata in the 2000 block of the Eastex Freeway.

Police said Kimmey suffered a single stab wound and was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where he later died.
Anyone with information about the unknown suspect(s) is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and could receive a reward of up to $5,000.
