Fugitive sex offender from Texas arrested in California No description found
AUSTIN, Texas – A man on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list was arrested in California on Monday.
John Arthur Volker, 50, was on the run for nearly 15 years before being arrested by the Long Beach Police Department for disorderly conduct. Authorities say Volker was wanted for violating his probation.
His criminal history includes charges of indecency with a child and driving while intoxicated.
Volker is now awaiting extradition back to Texas, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
