Search still on for man who escaped DPS custody in Rosenberg

ROSENBERG, Texas – Troopers are still looking for a man who escaped from their custody Saturday night.

Cortley Deshawn Blackmon is considered armed and dangerous.

He escaped from the DPS office in Rosenberg after being arrested during a traffic stop.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants and his hands were cuffed in front of his body.

Anyone who has seen Blackmon is asked to call police.
