Galveston man charged with possession, delivery of narcotics

GALVESTON, Texas – A Galveston man is facing drug charges after authorities found cocaine at his apartment.

The Vice and Narcotics Division of the Galveston Police Department conducted a search at an apartment complex on the 500 block of 4th Street. Police say an undercover officer led Galveston police to the residence after learning the occupants possess and sell cocaine.

Andre Lamont Wilson, 39, was at the apartment when the search warrant was executed. Investigators say they found 7.36 grams of powder cocaine.

Wilson was arrested for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. Another person who lived in the apartment has been issued an arrest warrant for the same charges.

Wilson is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
