1 wanted, 4 arrested in armed robbery of Pasadena credit union

HOUSTON – Three suspects have been arrested in a robbery of a credit union in Pasadena, but police are still searching for one more suspect.

On July 28, three armed and masked gunmen entered the Shared Resources Credit Union and robbed the employees at gunpoint, according to police. They fled the scene in a stolen vehicle, but a citizen followed them.

One of the bank robbers saw the citizen tailing them and began firing shots from the vehicle. The suspects then switched from the stolen vehicle to a waiting getaway car.

By that time Pasadena police caught up to the suspects and a chase began. The robbers fled north to Houston and exited into the Settegast neighborhood in northeast Houston, where they crashed. The three robbers and the getaway driver bailed out and fled on foot, but one suspect identified as Howard Glaze was captured. The other three suspects escaped.

Glaze, 22, was charged with charged with aggravated robbery and posted a $30,000 bond. He was then charged with reckless driving and another robbery. He is being held without bond.

Christopher Braziel, 27, is charged with aggravated robbery, engaging in organized crime and evading arrest. Police said he was out on bond for a felon in possession of a firearm charge. He is now in custody without bond.

Leroy Richardson was arrested Friday in northeast Houston. Richardson, 34, is charged with aggravated robbery. Police said he was on probation for possession of a controlled substance.

Police are still searching for Keith McGee, who is wanted for aggravated robbery.

McGee, 24, is from northeast Houston and police believe he may be hiding with family in the Tomball area.

Sonny Pervis, who was also wanted for aggravated robbery, was captured Tuesday night.

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office and US Marshals Service captured Pervis, who was found to be hiding in Louisiana."

Pervis is suspected of being connected to numerous violent bank robberies throughout the region over the last year.

His past convictions include burglary of a habitation, assault of a family member, aggravated assault, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, criminal trespass and evading arrest.
