HOUSTON – A man's body has been found inside a car in southeast Houston.

Investigators said a man who lives nearby first saw the car on the side of the road Monday night. Then he saw the car was still parked there this morning. The man looked inside the car, saw the victim slouched over and called police.

There is a construction site close by at Sterling High School. Houston ISD said no extra measures were taken at the school because even though it's close, the murder scene is in no way connected to the school.

As of now, police aren't telling us if it was a man or a woman or how it happened.

Police don't have a motive or suspect at this time.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
