HOUSTON – The George R. Brown Convention Center is the first place in Houston to offer access to the virtual currency bitcoin.
According to the center's press release, a CoinVault ATM has been installed on the second level of the GRB and it will provide access to the cryptocurrency.

"We think this will be an attractive option for international travelers coming to Houston," said Dawn Ullrich, president and CEO of Houston First Corporation, the organization that manages the GRB. "Exchange-rate conversions for those seeking U.S. dollars can be done automatically at our bitcoin ATM. There will be no need to carry large amounts of hard currency during travel. Pick up your funds when you arrive in Houston."
