Firefighters respond to fire at Akzo Nobel chemical plant in La Porte
No description foundLA PORTE, Texas – Firefighters were responding to a fire at a chemical plant in La Porte Tuesday morning.
The fire happened at Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals located at 730 Independence Pkwy around 7:40 a.m.
According to Care Line, there was an upset in one unit which caused heavy smoke to be seen.
At this time, there is no impact to the surrounding community.
