Peeping Tom caught on camera in Greatwood neighborhood

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – A nearly naked man is caught on home surveillance cameras jumping into a backyard in Greatwood.

The homeowner, Bill Bell, said he's worried about what the peeping Tom was after.

The cameras catch the guy coming from the direction of a nearby elementary school down the street and jumping the fence between Bell's house and his neighbors.

"At first I thought he was stealing a bike," Bell said after investigating his home surveillance system.

Sunday, his neighbor woke him up to tell him to check the video from this camera when the neighbor saw a man run across the yard.

"He just barely passes by the driveway and he's eyeballing this house hard," Bell said.

The footage appears to show a man in his underwear and tennis shoes ride a bike down the street, eventually returning on foot to get over the fence into a backyard where he's lost on camera for a second, then seemingly gets spooked and runs off.

What's worrisome to Bell is that between these two households, there's seven children between 4 and 15 years old.

"Was he looking to break in and steal something? I doubt it," Bell said "But given the circumstances of what I've seen he just looks like a peeping tom that was out to seek gratification from looking in someone's window."

Now, Bell takes his time monitoring the camera footage which he shared with police and hopes someone out there can identify the man.

He said constables told him they will increase patrols in the Greatwood area.
