You can vote for possible Texas specialty license plates

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles is asking for the public's input on new specialty license plate designs.

MyPlates.com has four proposed designs. Voting began on Nov. 12 and ends on Nov. 21.

The four deigns are "Flag of Texas," "Texas Oil & Gas," "Lone Star Black 1836" and "Dallas Mavericks" blue design.

Public input is the first step. The TxDMV will make a decision on the proposed plates in its February 2015 meeting.
