Man shot, killed during brawl at bar in SE Houston

HOUSTON – One man was killed and another was taken to the hospital after a shooting incident at Bone's Lounge in southeast Houston.

The Houston Police Department responded to a call at 7617 Navigation Blvd. around midnight Sunday.

Police said Carlos Villegas, 58, and another man got into physical altercation inside the bar.  The fight spilled into the parking lot, where the man Villegas was fighting with pulled out a gun and began shooting.

Villegas and a second victim were shot.  Villegas died at the scene and the second victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The shooter remains on the loose.
