New Whole Foods Market opens near Galleria

HOUSTON – The new Whole Foods near the Galleria is loaded with unique features, including a brew pub.

The brew club will be called the Whole Foods Market Brewing Company.

It will feature 20 beers on tap and you'll have acces to the head brewer through classes, tours and events.

The store will also feature Taqueria, a Mediterranean-style grill.

There is also a barbecue bar and a juice bar.

Unlike other Houston area stores, this one has a lifestyle space called the Greenhouse where clothing and accessories will be for sale.

The store opens at 8 a.m. Thursday and is located on 1700 Post Oak Boulevard.
