DPS announces arrests of 2 Texas 10 most wanted fugitives

HOUSTON – Two men on the Texas 10 Most Wanted List have been arrested, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Officials say Benjamin Klamm, 45, was arrested without incident at a Houston apartment complex on Oct. 24.

He was wanted on a probation violation and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Klamm was convicted of indecency with a child by sexual contact in 2003.

Eric Lee Brown, 26, was arrested on Oct. 29 in Killeen for a parole violation. The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and Bell County Organized Crime Unit helped with the arrest.

Brown's original offense was unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a controlled substance. Authorities say Brown is a member of the Crips gang and has a lengthy criminal history.

Past charges against Brown include unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, assault against an elderly or disabled individual, assault causing bodily injury to a family member, burglary of a vehicle, escape from custody, theft of property, bail jumping, bond forfeiture, criminal trespassing and a DWI.
