BAYTOWN, Texas – Two men are in custody and another man on the loose in the case of an elderly man who was shot while taking out his trash in Baytown.
At around 6 a.m. Monday, the 74-year-old man was walking to a dumpster at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Northwood shortly when someone shot him several times.

Baytown police said Michael Calloway and Tyrique Evans, both 17, confessed to the crime and are charged with aggravated robbery. Both are in the Baytown Municipal Jail.
The third suspect, 17-year-old Tavion "Tayvo" Mathis, is also charged with aggravated robbery, but he is wanted by police.
Mathis is described as 5 feet 5 inches, around 120 lbs, with short black hair and brown eyes. Police said he lives in the 100 block of Booker in Baytown and he is known to frequent the Northwood area.
Police said Mathis should be considered armed and dangerous.
