Biles makes history at World Gymnastics Championships

HOUSTON – Spring-native gymnast Simone Biles returned home Monday evening from the World Gymanstics Champsionships in China.

Her backpack is a little heavier today after bringing home four gold medals from Worlds, including a second-consecutive All-Around title. Biles has earned more gold medals (6) in her two World Championship appearances than any American woman, surpassing Shannon Miller (5).

Biles has a total 9 medals from her two visits to Worlds and has her sights set on the Rio Olympics in 2016.
