HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff's Office has charged Sandra Shahid, 38, with endangering a child.
Deputies responded Friday evening to the Citgo Gas station at 4550 F.M. 1960 West and Stuebner Airline after the owner complained of people drinking behind his station.

Deputies said they found Shahid along with two men Edward Carter, 53 and Justin Jarvis, 50 consuming alcohol. Shahid's 5-year-old son was with them. The child had not been drinking but all three adults appeared to be intoxicated, said an HCSO spokesperson.
Carter was charged with failure to comply as a sex offender and Jarvis with trespassing, according to court documents.
All three are being held in the Harris County Jail, Jarvis on a $5,000 bond, Carter on a $20,000 bond and Shadhid without bond. All three defendants appear to be homeless according to court documents
The child was released to a family member.
