HARRIS COUNTY – Three men have been arrested, but authorities are searching for three more, accused of burglarizing numerous vehicles, then selling stolen merchandise for cash.
Hunter Evans , 17; Austin Krolczyk, 17; Logan Horak,19; Alegandro Garza, 20; Matthew Post, 19; and Michael Hughes, 19, were each charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

During the months of June 2014 to August 2014, there was a significant increase in burglaries to motor vehicles in the Cypress Hill MUD, Fairfield, Villages of Cypress Lakes and surrounding communities.
According to authorities, all six suspects worked together to commit these burglaries. They allegedly stole items, including credit cards, and would make purchases at local stores with the stolen credit cards. In one burglary, a marked police vehicle was entered by the suspects and police equipment was stolen.
On Aug. 28, deputies responding to a disturbance call at one of the suspect's residence observed a large quantity of stolen items inside the home. The items were seized and returned to the rightful owners over the next week. Deputies investigating the cases were also able to locate many stolen items pawned by the suspects at local pawn shops and recover the items to be returned to the owners, investigators said.
Authorities have cleared over 15 burglaries to motor vehicles and recovered over $10,000 in stolen property.
On the morning of September 16, 2014, Constable Deputies attempted to execute arrests warrants on all (6) six suspects. Deputies were able to arrest three out of the six.
